So great to have you! Here, it’s all about the fun, relaxed and comfortable kind of film and photo sessions. The excuse to get in front of the camera and spend some time together. And if you love seascapes as much as I do, there is some of that here too. Grab an iced coffee or a nice glass of wine and keep scrolling!

My clients love photographs. They love love. They have this deep rooted bond with their little ones, their other half, their fur babies, with their own hearts. They dream of images that reflect these connections...and these are the connections I dream of capturing. If your ideal session is relaxed, painless and possibly, maybe, involves some sweet dance moves...drop me a line!
Family films include a unique collage of video clips of you and your family. A story in motion of you and your family that also includes digitals.
Simple photo packages also offered, beginning with mini sessions.
Travel fee may apply.

When I was pregnant with my first born I was looking for a photographer to take newborn and family pictures. I hated the look of studio pictures with babies heavily propped and staged. Luckily l stumbled upon Jennifer’s Instagram. I fell in love with the light and ease of her portfolio and immediately reached out. I was so nervous about my upcoming session as a new mom, not yet in a routine and generally feeling exhausted. I just didn't know when to make the appointment, how long this would take, etc. Jennifer immediately put me at ease and worked around us. The session was effortless and resulted in the most beautiful pictures my family will cherish for a lifetime.
We first contacted Jenn when looking for someone to take pictures of our entire family in 2014 in Montauk. She was so perfectly in sync with our needs and comfort- and there were 7 of us ranging from ages 9-55.... The pictures were not m at all staged or fabricated; her directions were stellar and we all wound up having fun AND with beautiful pics as a result.
We’ve been lucky enough to have Jenn photograph our own growing family twice now. Once in CT and once on LI. We anticipate doing more and more with Jenn in the future-especially with the addition of her video service! We can’t recommend her enough to anyone who wants incredible pictures without the stress of staged perfection; Jenn captured our natural personalities with ease!
I found Jenn online and immediately fell in love with her work. I have always dreaded photoshoots but she made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. When she sent us our photos, there was not one picture that we did not love. You can tell that she truly loves what she does and is amazing at it. She is super patient and listens to your vision. I loved her work so much that I had her do our newborn photos as well when our son was born. I will definitely be using her for all of our family photoshoots. - SD
I came across a framed photo by Jenn at a friends house in Sag Harbor. The style of photography caught my eye and I immediately asked who took the photo and how I could contact her! With perfect timing, I emailed her, and we were booked for the following day. I was looking for someone to capture precious moments of my son and his brand new baby sister. Being that he was newly on the move, I was very nervous that he wouldn’t cooperate during the session. However, Jennifer literally sang and jumped around to get his attention and make him smile! I recommend her to all parents looking to capture precious moments with their little ones!
First let me start by saying I think you should be 100% comfortable. I may suggest colors, types of clothing, etc but if it isn’t your jam, don’t do it! Go with your gut. I’ve made a Pinterest board here. It’s filled with some images from my sessions as well as other pins that rocked it!
For little ones, it’s important to be where they are most comfortable. I love shooting at the beach and I don’t think it ever gets old however if your little one is afraid of the ocean, we can figure out something just as great. Overall, I love to shoot where you want to be and what suits your vibe. If that’s the beach or the bay or your home making pancakes in the kitchen, then that is where we will be.
I shoot a handful of small, intimate weddings and elopements per year. Feel free to contact me for more info if you are planning your big day and interested!
I’m holding off travel at the moment! However, if you and some other Mom friends are interested in setting up a group of mini’s, contact me!
Oh, totally. Because in those 10 minutes, we can sometimes capture more than in an hours worth of a session. Okay, maybe not. But I truly believe there is a lot of story there even if it is during a high speed chase with a toddler. Their giggles, their running and kicking up sand behind them, splashing water (even at my face), it’s all incredible moments that need to be captured.
I like to focus on organic positions and shapes in my work and allow the babies to take the lead. I don’t “pose” in baskets, boxes or toys but rather capture the beauty of the little babe in her natural elements. A newborn in a simple swaddle on your bed is just perfection! Simple, simple.
Hi! I'm Jenn. I'm a family filmmaker and photographer splitting time between Southeastern CT and the Hamptons, NY. For me, it's all about the in-between moments when filming your family.
The giggles, the dance moves and everything in between. The funny, the sweet, the laugh so hard you couldn't breath, moments. And I just happened to be there to capture it.
When you look at your film years later, it's not the memory of how tough it was to get in front of the camera. It's the memory of simply being together.
When I’m not shooting portraits and hanging with my family and drinking wine, I’m hopping in my car in search of a new favorite spot to shoot. Napeague Bay, Peconic River, Gardiners Bay, the Atlantic ocean beaches, to name a few, have so much to offer. Have something to celebrate? Go to the water. Bad day? Go to the water. Mom in need of some serious quiet time? Go to the water. As for everything else, the rest of the Hamptons beauty is just the icing on the cake.
I began my seascape love affair when we moved to the East End, camera in hand, on the beach. And now, flying high over the crashing waves on the ever changing shores with my drone. I try to bring a piece of the calm home with me each time I shoot. If something here speaks the same to you, get in touch.
Satin Sky Snippets are tiny video clips from sessions that share the little bits of joy I am lucky to witness from my little clients. My intention? To make you smile and hopefully pass it along to someone who needs it the most. I believe in the power of starting small with kindness and creating a domino effect. It is still in its beginning stages but when I do post, it is shared on my Instagram page. You can always search the hashtag #satinskysnippets to view them all. Here are a few examples and make sure to follow along for more!
