Class of 2019

In my last blog post, I spoke about our move to CT from the Hamptons earlier this year.  Of course with the move came the transition of finding business on this side of the sound.  Growing my business on the east end of Long Island began in 2012 so it’s been a pretty good chunk of time spent there.  My hope is to meet parents of younger kids thanks to having our son participating in music and play groups.  In the mean time (since all things take time), I’ve been introduced to highschool senior sessions.  Thanks to my teenage triplet siblings, it has been a wonderful connection and introduction to our new town.

Let me also say that I love that HS senior sessions are even a thing.  In the age of smart phones and selfies and millions of social media posts, these kids need professional photos too!  A little time dedicated only to them in a sweet location that they are most comfortable with can deliver amazing photos not just for their yearbook.  The last year before college or whatever plans they might have is kind of a big deal.  Whether they are leaving the nest or not, these kind of school years will be done with and adulthood will finally get to creep in.

So parents, let’s capture this moment.  Plus, the holidays are right around the corner!  Frame these faces and put in a bow on it.  Gifts for everyone.  Boom.
